Hello! My name is Jennica Nichols. I was born and raised in Southern Ontario and am of European descent. I am grateful to have called Vancouver, British Columbia home since 2016. I research ways to increase research relevance and use in healthcare by shifting how research is done, how findings are used, and who benefits from the process. I focus on implementation science, public health, theatre, and adult education. I am also an evaluator. I love the power of evaluation to support movement towards goals through ongoing learning and accountability. I feel very lucky to have done this work across Canada and internationally for the last decade. Meaningful measurement, evaluative thinking, and creative problem solving are my specialties. Outside of work, I spend my time camping, nerding out about evolution and data science, experimenting in the kitchen, scuba driving, and exploring hole-in-the-wall restaurants.
